BRTRC, a growing government contractor, is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in the Counter-IED field. This is a full-time opportunity, located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

This position requires an action-oriented individual to make an immediate impact as part of a small team focused on the identification, analysis, and transition of solutions to combat enemy IED threats. The incumbent will coordinate initiatives with numerous government agencies, attend relevant briefings, conferences, and working groups, develop recommendations, analyses, test evaluations, and perform other duties necessary to maximize the Army’s C-IED capabilities.

The successful candidate will have a high capacity for detailed analysis performed independently. Excellent communications skills will show in the ability to produce Memoranda, Executive Summaries, PowerPoint briefings, and other standard staff documents, all in accordance with the Army standard.

Requirements:
-BS required or MS preferred, in Systems Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the Counter-IED community
-Current DoD security clearance required, with the ability to upgrade, if necessary
-Excellent time management skills in order to provide multiple required products by deadline
-Familiarity with and ability to research Regulations, SOPs, OPORDs, Campaign Plans, and other guidance in order to provide recommendations to government leads on a preferred course of action
